Good afternoon Prince George Families,
Our district is reaching out to families to share an update regarding our ongoing balanced enrollment project to adjust the elementary school boundaries, beginning with the 2023-24 School Year.
On Thursday, January 19, the Prince George School Board voted to select Boundary Option 2C. This decision follows months of research and thoughtful discussion with our stakeholders through surveys, focus groups, and other avenues, along with collaboration with the division's contractor for this project, Cooperative Strategies.
An overview of our current elementary attendance boundaries (left) and our new boundaries (right) beginning with the 2023-34 School Year are provided below.

We encourage families to visit the Cooperative Strategies website and use the School Locator map. Families can enter their address into the online platform and see what school their children will attend based on the selected Option 2C. Click the link below to access Cooperative Strategies' website and the School Locator tool.
Through Option 2C, it is estimated that 325 students will transition to new campuses for the upcoming school year. Families impacted by the adjusted boundaries set to take effect beginning in the 2023-24 School Year will receive more information regarding transitioning to their newly assigned school in the coming weeks.
Additionally, a frequently asked questions document and other resources will be available soon via the district’s website to help prepare our community for the upcoming school year.
Best regards,
Lisa Pennycuff, Ed.D
