Our Mission: Every Child Needs a Strong Foundation
Fundraising events like the Prince George Alliance for Education Foundation's Gala Dinner, fall pancake breakfast, and others help raise funds that support the non-profit's mini-grant program and other initiatives aimed at supporting Prince George County Public Schools, its students, and staff. These fundraisers have helped PGAEF hand out thousands of dollars during the 2022-23 School Year to PGCPS teachers, with nearly $4,000 having been awarded to teachers.
Most recently, thanks to the community's donations, PGAEF was able to award over $2,600 in mini-grants to local teachers during the organization's latest funding round in March. These grants helped provide sensory tools for kindergarten students at North Elementary, stuffed animal sewing kits for Prince George High School Independent Living students, and state-of-the-art Blue-Bots for Middle Road Elementary students to discover the world of advanced technology and coding alongside their core content skills.
Additionally, the Foundation is supported through the Friends of Prince George County Public Schools Endowed Fund with the John Randolph Foundation. This fund will help support the school division's efforts in providing high-quality education to the children of Prince George County.
To donate, click HERE to visit the John Randolph Foundation website. From there, complete the form and select "Friends of Prince George County Public Schools Endowed Fund" under the Endowed Funds section if you wish to have your donation applied to the fund.
