Parents Invited to Review PGCPS' Proposed Math Textbook Adoption

May 18, 2026

Good afternoon Prince George Families

Prince George County Public Schools families are invited to review the district’s proposed mathematics textbook adoption for the upcoming school year, and provide important feedback to us during this process.

What are the proposed textbooks?
The proposed textbook for elementary adoption (Grades Pre K-5) is called Kiddom, and the proposed textbook for secondary adoption (Grades 6-12) is called enVision by SAVVAS.

Where can I review the proposed textbooks?
For families of elementary students, Kiddom is available for review at your child’s school during regular school hours. Please let the front office know you are visiting to review the proposed elementary math textbook content, and they will assist you. To leave feedback on the content, please use the paper form available at your school when reviewing the material.

For families of secondary students, enVision is available for review at the Prince George County School Board Office, located at 6410 Courts Drive, in the county government complex. Please let the front desk staff you know are visiting to review the secondary level math textbook content, and they will assist you at one of the computer stations in the lobby. To leave feedback on the content, please use the paper form available at the front desk or computer station when reviewing the material.

How long will you be accepting feedback?
Feedback will be accepted on our proposed textbooks through Friday, May 29, 2026.

What happens after the feedback period?
Feedback and comments from our community is an important part of this process. The information shared by our families regarding these proposed textbook adoptions will be used to determine if these books will be used for the upcoming school year.

Thank you for your support and, most importantly, your time and feedback during this process.

Sincerely,

Prince George County Public Schools
