Over 100 Students, Families Turn Out for L.L. Beazley Elementary's Spirit Night Festivities

March 29, 2023

Last Thursday, over 100 L.L. Beazley Elementary School students and families came out for an evening of fun during the school's Spirit Night festivities.

The event was hosted at City Point Ice Cream and Burgers in Hopewell, offering kids and families delicious cheeseburgers and flavorful ice cream as Beazley Elementary teachers and staff were able to spend time with their students, parents, and others during the after-hours gathering. Additionally, along with their ice cream, students were able to visit the neighboring business Artisan Alley to receive a special prize.

As an incentive for supporting Beazley's Spirit Night, students got to enter a drawing to silly string a teacher. After seeing the overwhelming support from Beazley's families, the school invited all of the students who attended last Thursday's event to participate in the silly string party on Friday, March 24.

The event was organized by L.L. Beazley Elementary School third-grade teacher Kristen Schwalm, Ann Audrey Eliades Kirk of Artisan Alley, and Philip Hughes of City Point Ice Cream and Burgers.
